There seems to have been a lot of hype about Maybelline's Lash Sensational mascara for a good while now.  It's a product that never really struck my interest as I'm a die-hard fan of Benefit's mascaras, especially their They're Real mascara.  I do like to have a cheaper mascara that I can just throw into my makeup bag as well though.  I was using a Soap and Glory mascara for while and I've recently run out of it.  I didn't plan on repurchasing that mascara as it could only be described as "average", so I gave into my curiosity and bought Maybelline's Lash Sensational mascara.

I didn't have high hopes for this mascara, I thought that even if it was good it still wouldn't be any competition for Benefit's They're Real, my long time favourite mascara.  However, I was super impressed by Maybelline's Lash Sensational.  It lengthens, curls and volumises my lashes without clumping them.  It's also a lot easier to remove than They're Real, and the formula feels lighter when applied.  I've officially been converted.  I'm think I'll only be reaching for my Benefit mascaras on special occasions from now on!
