This post is going to be a list of my all time favourite makeup products, ones that I will always repurchase and use for the foreseeable future.
5. 'The Porefessional' by Benefit, €34
The only primer I ever use. It minimises the appearance of pores, provides a smooth, even base for your foundation and helps your makeup stay on all day. It's quite expensive but it lasts ages and is definitely worth it in my opinion.
4. Collection 'Lasting Perfection Concealer', €5.49
I've used this concealer for years. It's great value for money and is a better concealer than some high-end ones I've tried.
3. Urban Decay 'Naked' Palettes, €46
I have and love the three full Naked palettes. I can't remember when I last used any other eyeshadow palette that I own! They are expensive but they're great value for what you're getting and will last for years. I think anyone who is into makeup should own at least one of these palettes. I plan on picking up one (or both!) of the Naked Basics palettes soon too.
2. 'They're Real' Mascara by Benefit, €26
I used to be pretty sceptical when it came to mascaras - they all claim to give you volume, length and to curl your lashes, but how often do they actually work like they promise to? When I first used this mascara I was genuinely shocked by how good it is. I don't know how, but somehow it magically makes my eyelashes so long that people have asked me am I wearing false lashes! The only problem with this mascara is that it can be difficult to remove (and I refuse to buy a remover specifically for it...) but it just takes a bit of patience.
1. Estée Lauder 'Double Wear' Foundation, €37
I believe foundation is one of, if not
the most important step of my makeup routine. It's important to have a good quality, reliable foundation that suits your skin type and colour. This is a full coverage, matte, long-wearing foundation, and luckily enough the palest shade is a perfect match for my skin. If you're looking for a foundation with full coverage that won't leave you looking caked, I recommend checking this one out.
Have you used any of these products? What did you think of them? Let me know your all time favourite makeup product in the comments!
